hey reaper, having played MGS3 (mostly) do you think it was a good game? Am I missing something by selling it without fully exploring it? I just found myself getting frustrated with the game and not enjoying it, but if you think its worth playing then maybe I'll give it another shot.

I played the original MGS3. I thought it was a "good" game but not a great game. It felt like somewhat old technology even though I played it before any of he new systems were released. It was very frustrating because I was locked into this top down view. People were shooting at me and I could not see where they were. I believe they addressed that with later updates to the title that were added in the re-release. Do you have the one that lets you go 1st person? If so, that may help with this problem.
There were some exciting moments in the game and the gaming crowd in general seems to think it was a great game. But, for what it's worth, I wouldn't mess with it in this day and age. There are so many other games much more worthy of your time and attention. My recommendation is to cut your losses and move on.
If you decide to play it, I don't think you will hate the game. It didn't suck. But I don't think you'll be blown away or really excited. I think you're free time would be better filled with other newer titles.

Thanks reap. I have the older version of the game, so only top down for me as well. I think you're right and will probably just pass on the title. I'm sure I would enjoy the game eventually, but don't think I'll be missing out on much by passing it up.

Ok, so I've been thinking about this for a little while. I'd like to make more of an effort to have community games for CYE members. So, I've got a few games that I'm not really interested in holding onto them. Normally I would put them up on ebay, but if others would like to play them or check them out, I'm more than happy to send it your way. If you like the game, you can keep it. If not, you can send it onto the next person that wants to check it out or send it back to me and I'll proceed to post it on ebay if no one wants it.
I also have a number of games that I have completed and do want to hold onto as I have some strange attachment to them, but at the same time, am happy to lend them out as well so that others who want to check it out can do so.
So, hopefully that's not too complicated. So, here's the list of games:
Games you can have/borrow: Metal Gear Solid 3 -- PS2 Rayman Raving Rabbids -- Wii Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow -- DS
Games that I would like returned, but are also available to borrow:
Gamecube: Star Wars Rogue Leader Star Wars Rebel Strike Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes The Legend of Zelda :The Ocarina of Time / Master Quest Metroid Prime Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Soul Caliber 2 F-Zero GX Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
XBOX: Halo Halo 2
XBOX 360: Kameo
Wii: Madden 2007 Excite Truck Metroid Prime 3 Corruption Legend of Zelda The Twighlight Princess Wario Ware Smooth Moves Super Mario Galaxy
GBA: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Super Mario Brothers Super Mario World Super Mario Brothers 3 Yoshi's Island Metroid Zero Mission Metroid Fusion Wario Ware
DS: Clubhouse Games Mario Kart DS Super Mario 64 DS Metroid Pinball Tetris DS The New Super Mario Bros. Castlevania Potrait of Ruin Elite Beat Agents Starfox DS Meteos Zoo Keeper The Legend of Zelda The Phantom Hourglass
I know in the past I've only lent out cartridges. I'm willing to lend out my CD/DVD based games but I can't stress enough that I expect anyone who borrows such a game to treat it with the utmost respect. I treat all my games with extreme care and would expect anyone here to do the same.
So, there you have it. If you're willing to pay for shipping, anyone is more than welcome to try/play any of the games in my library. Its a lot cheaper than buying games and even cheaper than renting them. This way if there's a game you really wanted to check out but didn't want to lay out the cash for it, well, now's your chance. As I add more games to my library, I'll update the list.
Feel free to post or PM me if you're interested. Cheers!

Is no one interested in any of the games I'm looking to dump? If not, I'm putting them up on ebay this weekend. Let me know and I'm more than happy to send them your way. I'm basically giving them to you and all you're out is S&H.

Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow Metal Gear Solid 3 Rayman Raving Rabbids

Hey all,
So, I'm trying to go through some of my old things and get rid of stuff I just don't play anymore or don't think I'll be playing in the foreseeable future. Anyway, as much as I used to love the system, I just don't play my Dreamcast at all. I still have a few games for it such as Crazy Taxi, Typing of the Dead (with keyboard) and Samba De Amigo (with maracas). I don't know if anyone here is interested in any of these at all, but if so, let me know as I'll probably throw them up on ebay in the coming weeks.

My addiction with Puzzle Quest has finally come to an end and I've finished the game. Let me know if anyone is interested in it as I've added it to my list of games to sell/trade.

I was up to level 30 and very far in the story and then my 2 yr old daughter erased my game. So, I have restarted the game from the beginning. highly recommend it to anyone that doesn't have it. It may be good for a spouse as well. My wife is addicted.

Is Puzzle Quest the one with the RPG elements as well? Hmm, very tempted. Dreamcast is calling my name as well but I better hold off on that one (I think my current one just needs a good cleaning). What other games do you have for it dschroll?

Puzzle Quest is the bejeweled game with the RPG elements to it, yes. Its very fun and I paid $20 for it brand new. With regards to the Dreamcast, if you have one you should definitely just try and get it cleaned up. No use buying another one. The only DC games I still have are Crazy Taxi, Samba De Amigo, and Typing of the Dead. Oh, I also downloaded Propellar Arena and burned it to disc. Its a game that is essentially a precursor to Crimson Skies on the XBOX.
Anyway, there's no rush on any of this. Although I did have someone from CAG contact me about Kameo, so it seems that one may be sold. But I haven't posted anything on there about my DC.

Yeah, I'm content to just fix this one if it goes down. You should do pretty good with selling Sambo De Amigo, just make sure to sell it before the Wii version is out.

Anyone interested in Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the Gamecube? Excellent game if you haven't played it and one of Silicon Knight's best. Still, just don't see my playing it anymore so its going up for sale this week if anyone wants it. Let me know.
