Anyone else playing this right now? I've been kinda out of gaming for a while now and this game just brought me right back into it. As many of you know, I loved the first 2 Arkham games and even Origins wasn't terrible, but just wasn't the same as the first 2. Arkham Knight though is probably my favorite of the series. I just love this style of game. I've been playing it every chance I get (when I'm not playing Splatoon with my daughter) and am nearing the end of it.
Anyone else enjoying this game or thinking about getting it? This is the game that justifies my PS4 for me.

I am thinking about it. It's odd. I've heard some very positive and some negative things about it. Some people love the car and others feel like it's a distraction. Overall, it looks awesome to me. However, to be honest, I plan to work more on Witcher 3 before tempting myself with any more huge open games. Not sure what I am going to do with the other huge games I've barely started such as Assassin's Creed and Far Cry. Need more time...

I love that batmobile. Sure, it's note quite as convenient driving some place as gliding there, but I have a blast driving around on it. It's built strong enough that as you're hitting things while driving through the city, it's not getting destroyed. It's got some cool weapons that you can use when fighting enemy tanks. It looks sweet as hell when you remotely call the batmobile as you're falling to the road and it zooms around the corner and you drop right into it. Such a cool ass moment and one that feels very "batman". Plus the batmobile missions really help break up the game for me so it doesn't feel like I'm doing the same stuff over and over again. If I'm tired of doing predator stuff (hiding and knocking out bad guys) I can do some driving missions. Really nice break. My daughter saw me riding around in the batmobile so I decided to teach her how to drive in the game. She loves its. She drives around gotham just crashing into things, but the thing doesn't get damaged so she doesn't get frustrated. Then she can jump out and glide around off of buildings. I don't let her do main mission stuff since that stuff is harder and violent, but watching my 6 year old tool around gotham and then leap out of the batmobile going right into a glide is pretty cool.

Keeping it on my list then. Sounds like a lot of fun and I enjoyed some of the older Batman games.

The game is a 10/10 and the Batmobile is a 7/10 for me. Trying to power through the story mode to avoid any spoilers and the story is great, though it's dark as hell! It more than earns it's M rating.

Overall, the story is good, and it does some great things. However, the reveal of arkham knight was a bit of a letdown for me as I thought it would be more of a surprise than it ended up being.
