Might as well make a thread to keep track of our IDs.
I have no idea how we'll connect w/ each other but we can share our IDs here, assuming that's the method.

Nice! It's getting decent buzz. I'm definitely interested in downloading it.

I downloaded it, but haven't had time to set up my Mii. Maybe later tonight.

oldskool - ditto here. All my Android devices are rooted, so Miitomo gets a nice 1-star rating from me! However, I pulled out my previous Android phone, unrooted it, and installed it to start getting rewards. Lame app, but I'm about to clear the 1000 Platinum point threshold so I can get the only thing I want: Zelda Picross! Even lamer: no way to add a friend via Nintendo ID. My ID is UsualNoise, but it doesn't matter. You can only add by being in-person (pressing the same symbol at the same time as someone else) or from Facebook / Twitter. Leave it to Nintendo to make everything difficult!

Google 'miitomo jailbreak' and lo and behold, answers 6 hours old, gotta love the JB community. www.slashgear.com/lets-fix-miitomo-on-jailbrokenrooted-devices-31434164/xCon 41 worked for me on my iPhone 6.

Mostly linking stuff, but I also got an email today giving me (as a former Club Nintendo) a bonus code for 200 platinum points. So, here's how I did it (keep in mind Miitomo / platinum points are interchangeable for rewards purposes):
200 platinum - Club Nintendo email bonus 200 platinum - preregistered for Miitomo (no longer available, you had to do it before today) 100 platinum - started using My Nintendo 100 platinum - linked Nintendo network ID to My Nintendo 100 Miitomo - linked Miitomo to Nintendo account 100 Miitomo - linked Miitomo to Facebook 100 Miitomo - linked Miitomo to Twitter 100 Miitomo - added a friend using face-to-face (used my daughter's tablet to do it) 30 platinum - Signed into Nintendo eShop 30 platinum - Signed into Miiverse
That's 1060 total; you are required to spend 50 for the 'coin box' which just lets you collect coins, so that left 1010 for the Picross game. The other points I got today (110):
10 platinum - linked Google+ to Nintendo account 10 platinum - linked Twitter to Nintendo account 10 platinum - linked Facebook to Nintendo account 30 platinum - signed into Nintendo account on official Nintendo website 30 platinum - My Nintendo sign-in bonus (click on platinum coin near your Mii) 10 platinum - click on block on bottom right of My Nintendo home page, then click on Mii 10 times 5 Miitomo - changed Mii's clothes in Miitomo 5 Miitomo - give 3 answers in 1 day in Miitomo

FYI - I had 2 Club Nintendo accounts and so got 2 emails with 200 point codes. I could only use one in my account (tried the second, it failed) so unless that attempt invalidated the code I'm offering it up here if anyone a) did NOT receive the Club Nintendo email bonus and b) will actually use the new My Nintendo site.
Keep in mind I can't be 100% certain the code will still give you 200 platinum points but since it didn't apply them to my account it's worth a try.

Boo! Nintendo points expire after 6 months. I hate that.

Yep. Honestly other than this initial bonanza to get the Picross game I have little to no interest in the new rewards program. Not only do the points expire too early, the rewards are worthless considering I can get the physical versions for the same price as the 'discounted' digital versions. Lame Nintendo.
