I've got a few PS4 titles collecting dust and Gamestop has an extra 20% off for trade in.
I've watched a few vids and trying to figure out if this would be a good title for me. I don't think I've ever played anything like it. Never played any of the recent open world type of games.
I tend toward more campaign driven stuff, especially if there's an compelling story behind it.
Thoughts?

Given your self proclaimed tendencies, this game seems like the polar opposite of what you like. Are you in the mood to be in a worl where you are less driven by story and imposed goals and more driven by what you feel like doing? Did you ever play minecraft and get anything out of that? I feel these 2 are similar world explorers. I am personally interested but waiting for reviews to see how people like it. It seems like it has the potential to be great or a boring dud. I am also considering "The Witness" but feel torn about that game as well. I like the 5 min idea of it. But doing line puzzles over and over for 60 hours sounds a but overwhelming. Hrmmm

I'm waiting for reviews on this one as well. It looks promising, but as reaper said, it might be a total dud and get old quickly. What's collecting dust on your shelf that isn't getting played? Perhaps play one of those games instead? I'm trying to go through my backlog a bit more. I'll never get through it all, but I'm starting to realize I have some outstanding games on my shelf that go unplayed while I drool over the next big game that just got released. I need to play more of the games I've already got

What's collecting dust? Sheesh, I don't think the forum servers have enough memory for that post.
Fair points re: No Man's. It's far different than what I play. Sounds like I'll wait a bit.
I took a look at the The Witness. Funny as it looks like a game my son bought me from Gamestop, Talus Principle. It's a bit repetitive but there's something compelling/relaxing to me. I've spent a bit of time on that and actually liked it but I could see that it's not everyone's cup of tea.
I do have something to me keep me busy. I just picked up the Batman Telltale Games Ep 1 last night...

After reading reviews of this game, I don't think this is my kind of game. Too open world with no objective. I think one reviewer said it best that this game is for someone who likes to get lost.
If anyone here ends up getting this, please post your thoughts.

My son keeps bugging to get this one. I've read the same reviews. We can get it cheap w/ our trade ins but not sure it's worth it.
I'm w/ you. W/O a story, I don't find much that compelling here.
Just took a look, Gamefly has the game. I'm going to suggest to my son that we try a 30-day trial and start w/ this game.
