Two years ago oldskool's San Francisco Giants take the pennant over my Royals. Last year the Royals come back and get KC a championship that was a long time coming. Now the Cubs get one this year that ends a long long wait. Congratulations, it is a great feeling.
You're welcome for Ben Zobrist, ha ha. He helped get KC one and now Chicago. Good guy and good game tonight.
You are now a World Champion.

That was the most exciting Game 7 ever. Have to be honest, as a Warriors fan, having CLE lose at home was just the best.

OMG it was probably the most amazing World Series I'd ever seen. I mean, I've been a life long Cubs fan so just seeing them in the World Series for the first time in my life was a proud moment, but being down 3 games to 1 and then coming back to win the next 3 games. As much as I wanted to believe they could do it, when CLE tied it up last night in the 8th inning, I thought for sure this was going to be it for the Cubbies because I still remember back in 2003 when they were in the NLCS playing the Marlins and they blew the lead against them. But somehow the team persevered. I wasn't a fan of some of the calls the coach made, taking out pitchers mid inning, but in the end, the Cubs made it work. This was an amazing ride and I'm so happy for the Cubs and the city of Chicago. Haven't won a World Series in 108 years. That curse ends today I'm only sorry I decided to move out of Chicago the year the Cubs finally did it, but I wouldn't have been in the city nonetheless as it was a total madhouse. I can't believe over the last 3 years someone from this board has watched their respective team win the championship.
