I was looking for a fun and stress free video game. This is perfect. The art style is fun. The gameplay is simple but sufficient. The story is zany. Overall I’m really digging it. Anyone else?

I've played the original before at least twice, but it's been a while so I'm hoping I don't remember too many details. I haven't started it yet, but expect to enjoy it quite a bit. I'm hoping for a Link Between Worlds kind of experience, but that might be setting the bar a bit high.

Simple? You're better than I. I've gotten stumped a few times and had to look for help. I'm in the 3rd cavern so far.

I remember playing this on the Gameboy Player and being blown away with how good it is. It is more common now, especially with the Switch, but it was a something having a console type experience on a handheld game back then.
Will definitely pick this up eventually.

I've finished this game and am now going for the 100% completion. I have to say while the main game is good, it just didn't grab me like Link Between Worlds. I guess I'm not a big remake fan if I know the original already.
I think my main gripe is the primary addition (Dampe's dungeon builder thing) just wasn't very entertaining for me. I can't see going back to it, ever, just for fun, and I'm only finishing it to get the 100% completion done. That, plus the need to grind for rupees to buy all the stones used in the dungeon builder (each is 1,280 rupees) and ... meh.

I’m in a dungeon right now with a bunch of orange and blue squares you have to switch back and forth with buttons. Honestly, it’s kind of annoying. Least fun dungeon so far.

Yeah, that one was just as confusing / annoying in the original. For fans of the original they did a great job changing the aesthetics ... but they didn't modify any of the minor annoyances either, which would have been nice. I was stuck for a good 2+ hours early on just because there was no clue as to how to get to the desert area and I couldn't for the life of me find my way over there.
