Yeah, points you spend in the store aren't deducted from your platinum / gold status. They're just deducted from the coins you can spend on stuff. So buy it!!

Wait. what are you talking about? You can use points to buy stuff without it affecting your status. So if I get the Nunchuck, my status remains at 180 points left for Gold? Is that correct?

BTW, one thought when I got my Wii U preorder was to resell it at a profit before Xmas just in case the market was high enough.
Even Gamestop has the basic set now in stock. I've seen Craigslist drop from $500 to $400 on the Deluxe set in just a week. So much for the capitalistic profit. I'm keeping it anyways. If only I had a dollar for every time my 7 yr keeps saying he wants a Wii U for Xmas. His head's gonna explode.

Nope, just offering a way for people to check their local stores if they're interested.

Phew. You need to stand strong with me against the Wii!

There's nothing to stand strong against. I'm in as soon as there's a game that justifies the purchase. Right now for me there's not. However, I suspect by this time next year there will be.

Grr. Apparently when you pair your Wiimotes w/ the Wii U, they're no longer paired w/ the Wii. You have to redo in order to use on the Wii again.

Oh good grief. How moronic. So, you have to repair the damn remote every time you want to play a Wii game?

Oh good grief. How moronic. So, you have to repair the damn remote every time you want to play a Wii game? IF you want to use your Wiimote with your Wii, yes, you have to re-pair. I suppose it's not an issue if someone just straight out replaces their Wii with a Wii U. But that's not my case. Hence, my bitchin.

Oh wait....I think I see. I thought you had to re-pair the remote with the Wii U when in Wii Mode. But, you're talking about another Wii console. When you pair the Wii remotes with the Wii U, you have to re pair it with the original Wii hardware if you want to go back on that. That makes sense as I've had to do that on other bluetooth devices, paring a bluetooth keyboard with both a tablet and a game console.

Yeah, I've already been annoyed by that since we have 7 Wii remotes and at any given time I have no idea which are paired w/ the Wii U and which are paired w/ the Wii.
