Finished Picross e6 for 3DS. Took way longer than any previous entries (my 3DS activity log puts it over 38 hours, next closest Picross was 19 hours for me). So, got my money worth. Thanks for the heads up on Entwined, it's in my backlog (from PS Plus) but I'll probably skip it now.

Cool, I have Xeodrifter on PS3 and 3DS, not sure which would be better to play it on ... Maybe 3DS given the heavy 3D visuals.

Finished the latest Arkham Knight DLC called GCPD Lockdown. As with the others, nice little side mission, way too short.

I played Xeodrifter on PS4. Between PS3 and 3DS, I would probably pick 3DS. It does seem like a cool portable title.

Finished Costume Quest 2 on Wii U today with my daughter. I didn't like the second one as much as the first one. But, it's a great intro to RPGs for kids, and I enjoyed playing it with my daughter. Hopefully next year she'll play more of it than I will as maybe this will be a fun tradition to bust out costume quest for halloween.
I also unlocked all of the single player content in Guitar Hero Live for PS4. I know a lot of people are divisive on this game, but I definitely tend to side with the group that enjoys is. I really like the new guitar layout. Having played the original Guitar Hero on PS2 all the way through Rock Band 3 on XBOX 360, I thought it would take me ages to re learn this new guitar. It really didn't take that long at all, and it just feels a lot more natural to me, and at other times, insanely challenging. I like the challenge though. I felt the GH and RB games were getting stale, so I really like the new fresh take Activision did with this game. Definitely has renewed my interest in playing these games. Definitely worth a try for those of you that liked these games in the past.

Just finished/got the platinum on Tales from the Borderlands. What a fantastic finish. Also got 100% on the Taken King. Also fantastic (and life consuming.)

Finished Alan Wake for the 360 last night. Overall, it was a decent game. I would give it a 7/10. Graphics were good, especially the lighting effects. Not as scary as I thought it would be, which I guess is a relief for me as I normally don't like scary games. The game plays out across 6 episodes. It felt like most of the game all I'm doing is running through the woods defending myself. I kinda wanted more variety than that. Also, episode 6 doesn't completely end the story. They want you to buy additional eps via DLC. Not gonna happen for $7 an episode.
Cross another game off my list though.

[VENT] I'm at Chapter 19 Unwelcome Guests on Uncharted. Those damn zombies keep killing and I've spent the last few weeks trying to get through it. Granted I spend about 15 minutes per attempt until I want to chuck the controller through the plasma. I pulled the 2nd switch and almost made it to the green lit door and of course they got me. Arrgh. That 88% save file is just mocking me.

Yeah, the intro of Zombies into the game made no sense to me. Been a great story (to me) so far but that whole part just lost me. Like it jumped the shark right in the middle of the game.

Finished yoshi's wooly world. All yoshis unlocked, all flowers collected, all special stages completed and boss mode completed. Phew. Great game. Far more challenging than I was expecting. Especially those special stages. Loved the throwback yoshis for all the Nintendo consoles.

i know there have been others, but...not much im sure. gotta check w/my little one, we've been doing some wii/wiiu things through the year. started but somehow didnt finish costume quest 2, that i do recall. anyhow!
1. Love - sweet little indie platformer with an excellent soundtrack. 2. The Fall - great indie action-adventure, more akin to watered-down point-and-click puzzlers. short, creepy, and hilarious at parts. 3. [tbd]

Completed 2 more DLC campaigns from Arkham Knight. Fun campaigns. Too short. Not enough story.

Finished Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker. Beat all 3 episodes with all jewels and stamps. Beat all bonus content except for the final section which has you in an endless maze, being chased by a mummy trying to collecting 5k coins. That part just wasn't fun to me and felt like needless padding. Otherwise, a fantastic game that I highly recommend to anyone on this board. Great bite size levels for those that don't want to commit a long time to playing something.

Completed Harmonknight on the 3DS. Decent rhythm based game. Characters weren't that interesting but gameplay was fun. The bonus levels are a pain and you have to be perfect to complete them. That can be a bit frustrating. .
