Target has buy 2 get 1 free going on this week, unfortunately no Switch games though.
To buy now or hold off till BF is the question. I'm guessing I can buy now and return within 30 days if BF is lower...hmmm.

PS+ subscriptions are down to $40 on Amazon, Best Buy, and Gamestop. Definitely the best price for this right now as normal price is $60.

I just scored a pretty sweet deal on a Switch Pro Controller. Here's the lowdown:
Google Express is now an online conglomerate for a bunch of stores (Target, Walmart, etc.). I found the Pro Controller on there through Target. I have an AmEx card, which has a current offer of spend $50 on Google Express, get $20 back on the card. There's a current promo code for Google Express LETSBUY20 which gives you 20% off your first order. So, I ended up getting it for $43 after tax!
Just a heads up for anyone that might also have an AmEx card to check for that offer and activate it. Then use that first time promo code. (There's another one if GET10OFF40 that takes $10 off $40 or more on Google Express as well.)
Hope this helps someone score a sweet deal! (There's a max on the 20% off offer of $30, but it's still pretty good.)
EDITED to add: another example - you could buy a Switch for $300 - $30 (promo) - $20 (AmEx) = $250 (+ tax).

Awesome deal UsualNoise! I'm checking this out right now. I have an Amex and just activated the offer.

How do you activate the promo? I agree, the Pro Controller rocks. I also have those 8bitdo controllers which are WAY better than the Joycons for travelling. My only complaint is lack of motion/rumble which I didn't think was a big deal until playing Odyssey.

Promo code was in my earlier post - has to be your first purchase through Google Express, enter LETSBUY20 in the promo code section. It will take 20% off up to $30.
If you're talking about the AmEx offer you'll have to do that from your card offers after you sign in to your account.

Well, I finally decided to pull the trigger on the Google Express deal and apparently both the 20% off and $10 off code no longer work. When I was first looking into the codes, it said they were good until December. But now it says the limit for the code has been reached. I had no idea there was a limit on them, so I guess it's not something like one per person. That kind of stinks as I was all set to order a PSVR, but it's not the same deal if I can't get the 20% off deal.

Oh man, sorry. A similar thing happened to me a couple months ago, but with the AmEx portion - they had a Best Buy cash back offer and when I went to add it it said the limit on the offer had been reached. It sucks when that stuff happens.

I've purchased retro gaming stuff from estarland in the past and their prices are very fair and the condition of the items I've gotten have been really good. They are offering some coupon codes. Definitely check them out, especially if you're looking for some retro stuff.

FYI - saw that Best Buy currently has a promo where if you place an order of $10 or more for in-store pickup you'll get a $10 savings code emailed to you on 1/14, and it is good for up to $30 (3 orders). Seems too good to be true, but I'm planning on ordering 3 separate $10 Nintendo eShop cards for pickup and will hopefully get an equal amount free next month. We'll see ...

Well, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Playstation VR....again I was at my local Target and they had the Skyrim bundle on sale for $299. I think this was a mistake as they had a sale sticker on the bundle but the Skyrim bundle rang up as $349. The Doom bundle was supposed to be on sale for $299, so I suspect the sale sticker was a misprint and meant for Doom. But when I showed the lady the sticker, she manually adjusted and gave it to me for $299. In addition, I got another 5% off for the red card, which brought it down to $285 By that point, I couldn't resist and pulled the trigger. Now I need to go rebuy a copy of Batman Arkham VR as I loved that game and absolutely want to play it again.

I feel justified in returning the psvr last year as I’ve gotten all the same stuff for over $200 cheaper.

Thanks for the heads up, just grabbed it under the wire. I'll take almost 50% off, it has pretty good reviews.

Trying Rabbids on Gamefly. While I'm not a turn-based strategy guy, it's pretty good, well worth it at $32.
