Agrh, so much for 20% off pre-orders. RIP.
Got email from Twitch/Prime detailing some changes specific to Twitch. Then they say that startign Aug 28, you get $10 universal Amazon credit for pre-orders, no more 20%. BUT if you order any games before that, you will get 20%. Spiderman ordered...
UPDATE: And...you can't preorder a physical copy...

Yeah, got the same email. I never used it since I still have GCU active, but it's not good news. Pretty soon I won't have any way to get discounts on games. Guess I'll be waiting for sales!

Yep. Since I've had GCU, I've let my Amazon Prime subscription expire. I just never bought much from Amazon making it worth it as all my game business went to Best Buy. I thought maybe I would go back to Amazon in the future once my GCU ran out, but there's little reason to it seems.
It's definitely a bummer as I've used the heck out of my GCU. Mine expires in October but I've heard on CAG that BB will honor any pre orders made even if the GCU expired by the time the game comes out. I will be ordering anything I am remotely interested in just to be safe. But after GCU is over, my game buying will likely drop like a rock until big sales come out. It's probably better for me and my wallet in the end. Still, sad to see these programs go away. They certainly got me to spend more money more often than I would have had. Not sure how much profit was made, but I became an Elite member last year at BB for the first time ever and am on pace to do so again this year. So BB definitely got a lot of my business these past 2 years. Curious to see how well their performance will be once GCU expires for everyone. I know many people on CAG said they are done shopping at BB once GCU expires.

Best Buy has Labo Kits 2 for $100 (if you still have GCU that's 2 for $80). As I never tried this, I just ordered a couple to do with my daughter. Got the Variety and Vehicle sets for $80 + tax. This was posted on slickdeals originally. Here's the link.

I just started on the Variety kit this past weekend with my daughter. Had it since it first came out but we never got around to building them until now. Pretty cool overall. Just not sure how we're gonna store these all when they're assembled...

Argh, missed it. That's a great deal. No way I skip getting it on Switch, me needs some Starfox...

Wow! That is a steal. I was amazed when the game dropped in price to $35 on black friday. I mean, I will never buy a Ubi Soft game at launch because they drop their prices like crazy shortly after launch. Starlink came out in October and by November was more than 50% off. Now it's like 80% off. That's just crazy. Too bad the physical version is handicapped...

YMMV. Read this on CAG and it works.
LABO kIts for $20.99 at Target, in-store only, not advertised. Went to local store and sure enough there was a $20.99 and one lone vehicle set.
Score. May try to hit another Target tomorrow and see. My only regret is that I didn’t have my Target card for another 5%.

Went to a 2nd Target and shelves were empty. Looks like they had the $60 sets marked down to $20.99 and the cheaper ones marked down to $17.99.

If anyone is looking for eShop funds, MassGenie has $50 for $41.95. If you use this link we both get $5 toward a future deal (I actually used a $5 off for sharing an earlier deal with my brother, so $36.95 for me!) Hope someone finds it useful.

Yeah, I snagged one to mod myself. For $20, you really can't do better. I mean, the controllers alone are worth $20.
